Hi! I'm well aware of the "proship tree" and the reputation it has on PT. I myself have a semi-concerned opinion about it, however I love doing research about things I don't fully understand so I can begin to understand certain elements. I learned that after all this time, proship basically means you believe in not being harassed over what ship you may enjoy, not that you actually support some of the darker things like incest and pedophilia. Coping with fiction is a common practice, especially supported in therapy, and it shows with how people attach themselves to certain characters and/or pairings among other things So what I wanted to say was thank you! Although you say you're not a proshipper, thank you for standing your ground against everyone who sends you hateful messages (especially the ones from adults...you're gnashing your teeth at a minor bro grow up), and for being the reason I decided to look into what a proshipper truly is. I learned something new today and now I can look at things differently than before :]

hey, I stand for all proshippers when I say that harrasing anyone, especially minors, isn't okay! i can also say we don't welcome pro or neutral-contact people because they're disgusting and should get help! who cares where people sit? we can't stop them, maybe report them at best, and everyone has free will to sit wherever the hell they want to sit. proship just means anti-harassment, not shipping immoral or illegal things in fiction. terraco doesn't deserve this harassment, nor does anyone, especially over fiction or calling anyone something they're not. just thought I'd put my two cents in!

Please get help and find better coping mechanisms if you think being a proshipper is ok or a sane state of mentality at all. You’re actively supporting and advocating for a community that defends and protects MAPs and predators. It doesn’t matter if you’re viewing it/drawing it nor does it matter if it’s fiction or not. If you have an attraction to an underage character and make dark ships you are a pedo. Does not matter if it’s fiction or not, it is harmful to not only yourself but others. If you think that fictional art doesn’t affect people you have to straight up be a moron. When you’re putting yourself into communities and friend groups that normalize this mentality it is not only harmful to you but possibly to others you may harm in the future. You’re actively desensitizing yourself to the idea that it’s not ok to be attracted to underage characters. Please get help and better coping mechanisms. Real shit.
